The laser machine

Your customizations are made with a laser machine. The principle is to scratch the first layer of the material. The configurator gives you an approximate idea of the engraving that will be made on the product you have chosen, but you won’t get the exact rendering. We engrave leather or wood, which are living materials, so the result of an engraving with the same parameters can vary from one ball to another or from one base to another, and our engravers can’t change a thing, despite all the care they put into your personalization.

The color of the engraving

Likewise, the color of the engraving depends only on the material: whether you choose light or dark leather, or whether the wood of the base is harder or softer, but there is no setting for choosing the color that will appear after engraving.

The logos

When you ask us to engrave your logo, make sure it’s in good definition and black on a white background. If your logo doesn’t meet these criteria, even though our engravers rework it by computer, the result may not be what you hoped for, and we won’t be held responsible in any way.

The size of the customization

If you’d like to personalize your product to a greater extent than you’ve already done, the engravers will adapt the engraving to the product as best they can. In fact, engraving is carried out on a flat surface, so if you take a balloon, for example, which by definition is rounded, engravers will take the flattest surface of the panel to be engraved, but will not be able to engrave the entire panel.

The legibility of customization

Choose the right text for the product: the longer the text, the smaller the font. So don’t be surprised if your text is difficult to read. Similarly, the more pixelated your logo, the less precise the engraving. Once again, we cannot be held responsible for the rendering of your engraving based on the elements you have provided.

Personalized products cannot be returned or exchanged.

Before approving an engraving, and for all the reasons mentioned above, we can neither provide you with a proof-reading proof, nor remake a product for you: once the product has been engraved, we can’t go back on it; a failed engraving means a ruined product! Make sure you’ve followed all our advice, but if you haven’t, rest assured that our engravers will do their utmost to provide you with the best possible technical result.
